Rabbit Hole Distillery, based in Louisville, Kentucky, has unveiled its latest addition to the Distillery Series, "Heretofore," a double barrel Straight Bourbon finished in Apera Casks. Apera is the Australian term for dry sherry, which was renamed in 2010 due to international regulations. The term "Sherry" belongs to Spain, while "Port" is owned by Portugal, both under EU control. Apera, derived from "aperitif," is a delightful wine formerly known as sherry, often enjoyed as an aperitif.
